Terms and Conditions

Prices:

All prices published exclude value added tax (VAT). VAT is payable, The VAT rate is set based on the location of the course. The published prices do not include any travel, accommodation or living expenses. All pricing quotations are valid only for 7 days from the date they are first sent.

Payments:

The course fees, including VAT, are payable 20 working days before the course start date. Payments can be made by major credit and debit cards including American Express, Bank transfers (bacs) or via company cheques. Customers wishing to make payments made from non UK accounts or credit cards must be responsible for all bank charges in relation to the overseas transaction.

Where a Purchase Order is issued it must clearly state the purchase order number, course dates, full Invoice amount and contact details for invoicing. When more than one course is booked on the same purchase order, full payment for all courses, including VAT, is required 20 working days before the commencement of the first course.

Once a payment has been made, may it be a deposit or full payment, over the phone or on the website by the following methods: Debit Card, Credit Card, American Express, bank transfer or company cheque the delegate is adhering to Simetral Limited terms and conditions.

Where the relevant invoice has not been paid by the course start date, then we have the right to refuse the delegate(s) entry to the course. In these circumstances, the invoice in question will remain payable in full. We reserve the right to withhold examination results and certificates until all payments have been received.

The terms of this agreement override over any other terms of business or purchase conditions put forward by the Customer.

Deposit/Part payments:

All deposits/part payments are non-refundable, if the intended course is within the 20 working days of the of the course start date.

Purchase Order/ identification number:

If a purchase order is provided there is no need for any other confirmation. The purchase order constitutes as a legal offer to buy products or services. The Purchase Order is deemed as a confirmation of an order and is bound by the cancellation & re-scheduling policy set out.

Cancellation for website orders:

All orders placed through the company’s websites are non-refundable.

Cancellations non-website orders:

Notification of all cancellations must be requested in writing to: Simetral Limited Unit 10 Riverside Business Park Stoney Common Road Stansted Mountfitchet CM24 8PL. All cancellations must be received at least 20 working days before the start date of the course. The payment/purchase order date is used for these calculations.

20+ Days               £99+Vat

20-15 Days             50% of the total course fee including Vat

14-0 Days               100% of the course fee

Should a course booking be made less than 20 working days in advance of the start date of the course, the above cancellation terms still apply.

Re-scheduling courses

Rescheduling courses less than 20 working days of the course start date is not permitted and therefore will incur a 100% rescheduling fee. Rescheduling courses more than 20 working days of the course start date will incur a £99+VAT charge (per change) payable immediately upon rescheduling.

Re-scheduling or deferring of Practitioner Exams

Rescheduling or deferring practitioner exams is permitted and therefore will incur a £199+VAT rescheduling/deferring fee per exam per change. Rescheduling/deferring exams fee must be paid payable immediately upon rescheduling. Delegate must inform Simetral Limited 24 hours in advance of the original exam date.

Refunds:

In the case where a refund is made to the Customer by Simetral Limited, the refund may take up to 14 working days to be processed. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method that the original payment was made.

All examination voucher purchases are non-refundable.

All orders placed via Simetral Limited website are non-refundable.

Changes to Courses:

Simetral Limited reserves the right to change any part of a published course; if this is caused by circumstances beyond our control. Simetral Limited reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known. Simetral Limited will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature.  For any courses which are rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances such as trainer sickness/course low fill every endeavour will be made to provide a replacement trainer or to reschedule the course and we will offer delegates as many options as possible to complete their training programme.

The Location and course date of the course will be advised upon booking. Simetral Limited reserves the right to change the location and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known. Simetral Limited will not be liable for out of pocket expenses due to cancellation or any other changes to venue or programme.

Non Attendance:

Non-attendance of any course for any reason whatsoever is deemed to be a cancellation with no notice and payment is due in full.

Course Suitability:

The Customer accepts that it is their responsibility that the course booked is suitable for the requirements and abilities of the delegates attending. Simetral Limited employees may recommend courses or learning solutions, however, the assessment and the final decision concerning suitability of the course is the Customer's responsibility. In cases where we have made recommendations, we do so in good faith and will not be wilfully misleading.

Admission:

Simetral Limited reserves the right to refuse admission to any person whom it considers in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for whatsoever reason.

Booker Responsibility:

The booker undertakes the responsibility to bring these terms and conditions to the attention of delegates. It is the booker's responsibility to ensure that the delegates receive all the relevant information including the joining instructions and that they meet course requirements.

Onsite Site:

It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide all facilities, equipment and set up required for trainer to deliver the training. Simetral reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the course if, in the Trainer's opinion, the venue, equipment or conditions are unsuitable.

Partner Courses:

We partner with several organisations to provide a number of courses to give you the customer a greater choice of products and service, these providers are chosen very carefully and work on the same ethos as Simetral Limited. They are fully accredited by the relevant examining institutes.

Copyrights:

All intellectual property rights for all course materials shall remain the property of Simetral Limited. The Customer agrees not to reproduce, sell, hire, lend or copy the course materials or use them except for the purpose of personal reference. Simetral Limited warrants that it will not knowingly include any copyright material in its course materials without license or consent.

Warranty & Liability:

Simetral Limited’s liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course out of which the loss or damage has arisen. Simetral Limited will not accept liability for death or personal injury. Simetral Limited will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss. Simetral Limited will not be responsible for any damage resulting from any computer viruses arising from software installed on customer computer systems.

Force Majeure:

Simetral Limited shall not be in breach of this contract if the provision of services are delayed or cancelled or reduced through any circumstances beyond it's reasonable control including acts of God (including but not limited to, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, snow, hurricane or other natural disaster) sickness, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service. Delegates must ensure that they can attend the training courses which they are scheduled to attend. Simetral Limited will not be held liable, financially or actually, for their non-attendance, whatsoever the reason may be.

Intellectual Property:

The website and all the products and services of Simetral Limited without limitation are protected by international copyrights, trademarks and subject to intellectual property rights. Therefore all intellectual property belongs to Simetral Limited, its affiliates or suppliers. You may not copy, sell, reproduce, distribute, download, modify, display or prepare derivative works based on, repost, transmit or otherwise use any of the intellectual property of this site. The information on this site is provided “as is” and without any warranties. Simetral Limited does not accept responsibility of content of any third party sites that maybe referenced by Simetral Limited. The following activities are strictly prohibited: use of robots, other automatic device or manual process to monitor or copy the site of any of its content or the replication of this site to any server. Audio or video recording of courses is not permitted.
